Credits & top-ups

What a credit costs

Credits are the metering unit for generations across text, image, and video models. 1,000 credits = $1 of Melius credit balance.

Credits show up in your balance from several sources:

Source	When
`welcome`	One-time grant on team creation.
`subscription`	Monthly grant when a paid plan renews.
`top-up`	Manual purchase.
`bonus`	Promotional or support-granted credits.
`refund`	Refund for a failed generation.

When your balance runs low, top up from Team settings → Plans & billing → Top up.

Topped-up credits do not expire and stack on top of any subscription credits.

Every grant and spend is logged. Open Team settings → Plans & billing → Credit history to see the full ledger filtered by source.
