Melius routes generations through frontier text, image, video, and audio models. The catalog changes frequently. Use model_list (MCP) for the live set, including image and video tools.

Defaults
When you create a node without specifying a model, Melius picks a sensible default for that node type. Call model_defaults to see the current defaults.
Picking a model
Each node has a model selector. Filter by category, then pick the variant. The selector also shows which settings (aspect ratio, resolution, quality, duration, or text-model thinking level) the model supports — unsupported settings are hidden.
Deprecation
These catalog pages list active models only. Models are occasionally deprecated when a provider replaces them with a newer version. Existing nodes pointing at a deprecated model continue to work for a grace period — Melius surfaces an in-app warning when this happens and recommends a successor. After the grace period, the deprecated model is removed and re-runs use the recommended successor. Last modified on September 4, 2026
