Thinking controls

Select a text node and choose a specific model to set its Thinking level in the node toolbar. The menu shows only the levels that model accepts, including Off when reasoning is optional. Models with fixed reasoning or no reasoning control do not show the menu. When you switch models, Melius keeps the closest supported level. Auto routing uses the router’s own reasoning default and hides the manual control. Higher thinking levels can take longer and consume more output tokens, so the final credit cost can increase.
